Nick Kraft: "It motivates me,
to work agile"
Nick Kraft came, saw - and decided to do an internship and has been a working student since January 1, 2025. The 23-year-old is hard-working, quick and calm in everything he does. Nick is still studying at SRH University Heidelberg - his Master's degree in Strategic Communication & Leadership is within reach. At InnovationLab and FLEXOO, he regularly demonstrates his creativity, expertise and affinity for technology at the interface between communication and marketing. And every company would love to have such a "student" ...
In his private life, Nick is also a pleasant, versatile and very sporty fellow. He also has to make decisions from time to time, which is not always easy for him. Gym, perfumery or bed - there are much worse things, aren't there?

Who are You are?
I'm Nick, 23 and I've been part of the iL team since September 2024. I am currently in the role of working student and have 20 hours a week to put my skills and ideas in the field of communication and marketing into practice. Since I work for both InnovationLab and FLEXOO, there is always something to do and it definitely never gets boring!
What does you with your work at the InnovationLab most most fun?
I quickly get bored of endless routines, so the varied daily routine at Innovationlab is particularly good for me. New week, new rhythm. Continuing my education and working in an agile way motivates me, which is why I feel so at home here.

"Wide-ranging practical skillset"
How explain you then someone non-specialist your activity in understandable language?
Communicating is more than just talking. In principle, however, it is quite simple. Communication is the most human thing of all, which is why it generally works best from person to person. In my work, I concentrate on formulating messages in such a way that my counterpart can receive them in the best possible way. This includes a wide range of applications: Designing flyers, creating graphics or simply writing a LinkedIn post. I ask myself two questions: What do I want to express and who do I want to reach?
Which skills/core competencies are required required?
It is fundamentally important to be able to listen. You can only communicate adequately if you understand what you are talking about. I would say that I have a quick grasp of things and, thanks to my academic and professional experience, I have a wide range of practical skills to put my ideas into practice.
Are are there personal goals, that you in near future in the near future?
I would like to bag my Master's degree at the end of the year, then I will have completed my academic path for the time being. I generally like to plan in stages and decide between short, medium and long-term goals. In the near future, I want to organize myself even better and continue to work on myself - both at work and in my private life.
What do you in your free time passionately with pleasure - what are are you?
Whether in the gym, on the soccer pitch or jogging in the forest - sport is the ideal outlet for me to occasionally release a little pressure or to ensure that I am as balanced as possible in the run-up to everyday life. I have also been collecting perfume and producing music for a few years now. In this way, I try to permanently harmonize creativity, enjoyment and movement.

Swaying between dumbbell and perfume
Your favorite place - and your favorite sentence?
My favorite place is probably the gym, but occasionally also the perfumery or my bed. Fortunately, thanks to my legs, I can move from place to place depending on the situation - handy.
My favorite line comes from the movie "Absolute Giants": "Friendships are like longings. Great, big, absolutely gigantic. And once they've got hold of you, they won't let you go. Sometimes never again."
Which invention of mankind celebrate are you celebrating?
I vacillate between the dumbbell and perfume. I see the dumbbell as a tool for honing myself and constantly evolving. In addition to the olfactory experience, I see perfume as an artistic accessory that can round off both my outfit and my mood.
