Juliane Arenstorff: Master of the
fixed, practicable solutions
She is always a reliable and approachable contact person for the entire iL team, sometimes also for the FLEXOO staff and, above all, for partners, customers and users: Juliane Arenstorff impresses with her overview, clear-sightedness and pleasantly pragmatic approach in the office. Nobody knows Managing Director Dr. Michael Kröger's jam-packed calendar better than she does. And the 55-year-old, who enjoys living in Heidelberg and directly on the Neckar, always finds good, practical solutions as an Executive Administrative Assistant - despite all the advantages and disadvantages of a part-time job. Direct, hands-on, fast, friendly and completely unagitated.
Who are You are?
I see myself as independent, responsible and very strong-willed. Nevertheless, I love the exchange and cooperation with others. It's easier to achieve everything together - and it's more fun.
What does you with your work at the InnovationLab most most fun?
As I tend to be an extrovert, I need to interact with people like the air I breathe. Working from home is not my thing. I love being in the middle of the action and am pleased that my position allows me to have lively contact with the users of our platform, customers and business partners in addition to my colleagues.

"Many threads come together for me"
How explain you then someone non-specialist your activity in understandable language?
(Laughs) Thank goodness I don't have to do that.
Which skills/core competencies are required required?
As assistant to the management and administration, many threads come together for me. This requires an overview, organizational skills, composure and occasionally a sense of humor.
Are are there personal goals, that you in near future in the near future?
Ich möchte besser Spanisch lernen. Neben Englisch und Französisch möchte ich gerne auch mein Spanisch auf ein Niveau heben, dass ich die Antworten, die mir Leute auf meine gestellten Fragen geben, auch verstehe … Reisen macht eben mehr Spa ß, wenn man sich mit den Menschen unterhalten kann.
What do you in your free time passionately with pleasure - what are are you?
I started running privately two years ago. My passion is traveling and running shoes have been an integral part of my luggage ever since. My goal when running is "me time" in the fresh air and not competition. Relax - sort your thoughts - make decisions.

Your favorite place - and your favorite sentence?
I actually have two favorite sentences:
"Traveling leads us back to ourselves" - Albert Camus (1913 - 1960) and
"Plus est en vous", also the motto of my former school
Which invention of mankind celebrate are you celebrating?
If you could beam yourself from one place to another, I would think that would be wonderful. Perhaps a particularly clever person will invent that in the foreseeable future.
Short biography
Abitur: boarding school, Schule Schloss Salem, Überlingen; studied Comparative Literature at New York University (NYU) in New York, USA.
4/2005 - 9/2022 at Volume Graphics GmbH (software company).
6/2006 - 6/2023 own hairdressing business with up to eight employees - without being able to cut hair himself (laughs).
Employed as Executive Administrative Assistant at iL GmbH since November 1, 2022.
