Our cleanroom quality
... for demanding processes
Our ISO Class 7 cleanrooms provide an outstanding environment for demanding processes where minimal particle contamination is of crucial importance. Whether in electronics manufacturing, biotechnology or other high-precision industries, our cleanrooms provide you with optimum conditions for quality assurance and production.
Temperature 23 °C, tolerance: +/- 3 Kelvin
Humidity: 50 % relative humidity, tolerance: +5/-10 %
New in our cleanrooms:
Quantum X | nano scribe
Quantum X is a maskless lithography system designed for rapid prototyping and mastering in industrial manufacturing and replication processes. It uses two-photon grayscale lithography (2GL®) for fast and precise surface structuring. With support for single and multilayers of 4,000 gray levels each, it enables the fabrication of freeform micro-optics, microlens arrays and multi-level diffractive optical elements. The printing capability extends from the nanoscale with structure sizes down to 100 nanometers, through the microscale with typical dimensions of 50 to 700 micrometers, to mesoscale printing with dimensions up to 25 cm.
What our customers say
VERAXA Biotech GmbH
"We came here because we were looking for a platform where we could develop microfluidic technologies. Microfluidics plays an important role at VERAXA, but has the disadvantage that you need a lot of equipment and machines for it. For example, you need a clean room, and unfortunately the purchase of such a clean room is associated with extreme costs, which we as a small start-up cannot afford. That's why we came across InnovationLab, which has a cleanroom and also offers exactly the equipment we need for our work.
In addition to using the clean room, we benefit above all from the exchange with other people here, some of whom work in completely different areas. As a young start-up, we are of course always interested in further developing our technology, and a significant input for our new technology also comes from the InnovationLab."

Worth knowing
via the ISO classification
The cleanroom class is defined in DIN EN ISO 14644-1 is defined. This classifies the cleanliness class of rooms on the basis of their indoor air particle count (maximum particle concentration per m³). This is subdivided into the classifications ISO 1 to 9. A cleanroom of Class 1 cleanroom corresponds to the "cleanest" class. A class 9 cleanroom achieves the lowest level of cleanliness.
ISO Class 7 cleanrooms
Our cleanrooms comply with class 7, which means that the following permissible concentration of particles per m³ must not be exceeded in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14644-1:
Particle size ≥ 0.5 µm 3,520.00 Particles
Particle size ≥ 1.0 µm 832.00 Particles
Particle size ≥ 5.0 µm 29.30 Particles
Yellow room ISO class 5
Our cleanrooms include a 37m² yellow room, which is classified according to ISO 5.
Particle size ≥ 0.1 µm 100,000 particles
Particle size ≥ 0.2 µm 23,700 particles
Particle size ≥ 0.3 µm 10,200 particles
Particle size ≥ 0.5 µm 3,520 particles
Particle size ≥ 1.0 µm 832 particles
Particle size ≥ 5.0 µm 0 particles
