Reza Taale: Fascinated by people and innovative technologies
Iranian-born Dr. Reza Taale has integrated quickly and easily into the iL team as the new Cluster Manager in charge. This is hardly surprising, as the 40-year-old is a real people person and team player who already has some experience in a university context. Reza has a doctorate in materials science. Since June 2024, he has been systematically expanding the network, particularly in the field of life science technologies, analyzing and identifying topics, consortium partners, the market in biomedicine and research grants such as funding programs for the industrial implementation of innovative ideas. One of his current projects is the planning of the "Life Science Tech Day" on April 29 in the "Tower" of the Speyerer Straße 4 - 6 office building in Heidelberg.

Who are You are?
I am very curious to learn new things and get to know people, which often leads me to explore topics in depth. I enjoy being part of a team - whether at work or in sport - because I like to challenge myself while working with others towards common goals. For me, it's all about finding harmony - between activities, thoughts and the people around me - because I believe that this balance reflects our character. Music, with its natural harmony, inspires me a lot. I try to integrate this sense of rhythm and balance into my everyday life, be it in my personal relationships or professional tasks.
What does you with your work at the InnovationLab most most fun?
What I like most about the InnovationLab is that I have the opportunity to get to know people with innovative ideas and see how they pursue their dreams and how committed they are to working on them. At the same time, I can keep up to date with the latest technologies that make it to the market. This combination of creative people and pioneering developments fascinates me and inspires me to keep learning and developing myself.
