Alexander Föhr at iL
A first for CDU Member of Parliament Alexander Föhr: the politician recently visited our InnovationLab GmbH to get a precise picture of our Heidelberg site and the neighboring clean room. He learned a lot and now looks at this company with different eyes, said Föhr.

After an introduction by our Managing Director Dr. Michael Kröger about the goals and visions of the iL, Föhr asked a few questions and showed great interest in the installation of the planned electrolysis pilot factory in Heidelberg. "The InnovationLab is a top address for science and companies. It has all the prerequisites to continue pioneering work at the interface between research and industry in Heidelberg. I support the plan for an electrolysis pilot factory and am certain that this is an economic and industrial policy opportunity that we should seize," said Alexander Föhr. The 43-year-old member of the Bundestag, who has his constituency office in Dossenheim, was encouraged in this by Aline Moser, the personal assistant to Mayor Professor Eckart Würzner, as the city has already announced that it is committed to finding suitable industrial sites.

Michael Kröger: "Technology transfer is guaranteed"
Michael Kröger emphasized our role as a problem solver, accelerator and bridge builder. "Technology transfer is guaranteed thanks to our experience, because we also form the proven interface to industry in other fields such as printed electronics. Thanks to the existing infrastructure, we can concentrate on our core tasks and manage multilateral cooperation with strong partners," states our Managing Director.
Alexander Föhr, member of the Committee on Education, Research and Technology Assessment of the German Bundestag, emphasized that Heidelberg is not only a university city, but also an important production location, meaning that innovation and production can be ideally combined here.
